I've tried many kinds of frying pans and often been disappointed, but after getting this "new family member", cooking has been a joy! Seasoning should be done outdoors, if possible, cos there may be a lot of smoke. I have a cheap electric cooking plate for cooking outdoors during the summer and it came in handy for seasoning the pan outside. I did the seasoning three times, letting the pan cool in between. After that the pan is ready for the meat. Highly recommended, as this is more than a frying pan.
